Common Fault Phenomena and Troubleshooting Methods for Semi-Automatic Box Gluing Machines

The semi-automatic box gluing machine is also a commonly used production equipment for forming corrugated cardboard boxes in carton factories. During use, various small problems and faults may occur. The common fault phenomena and troubleshooting methods are summarized as follows:
1. No pressure or low pressure in the hydraulic system
(1) The oil pump motor is rotating in the wrong direction.
(2) The overflow valve core is stuck.
(3) The unloading solenoid valve core is stuck and does not operate.
(4) The hydraulic oil level is too low, and the oil pump cannot draw oil.
(5) The pressure gauge is damaged.

Solution: The motor fan should rotate clockwise when viewed from above. If it rotates counterclockwise, the power supply wires should be swapped; check and repair the valve; add sufficient hydraulic oil according to usage regulations; repair or replace.

2. No belt feeding
(1) The three-position four-way solenoid valve does not switch (Y1 light is off).
(2) The door switch does not reset (Y1 light is off).
A. Dust accumulation blocks the actuating rod, making it inflexible.
B. The door switch spring is fatigued, deformed, or broken.
C. The actuating rod is fatigued and broken.
(3) The three-position four-way solenoid valve core is stuck and does not switch (Y1 light is on).
(4) The plastic belt is caught on the belt reel or elsewhere, preventing the belt from moving.
(5)The front end of the belt is caught under the movable cutting knife (the guide plate synchronization is not adjusted properly, colliding with the cutting knife, affecting its return speed, or even jamming the cutting knife).
(6) There are belt scraps or foreign objects under the movable cutting knife, preventing it from returning to position, blocking the fixed cutting knife opening, and hindering belt feeding.
Solution:

A. Check the Y1 related circuit and repair.
B. Check the door switch.
C. Remove dust.
D. Replace the spring.
E. Replace the actuating rod.
F. Check and repair the valve.
G. Check the belt reel and re-thread the belt.
H. Readjust the throttle valve L1, jog to raise the movable cutting knife, and remove any belt scraps or foreign objects under the movable cutting knife.
