Corrugated cardboard is a composite board made of boxboard and corrugated base paper, used for manufacturing corrugated boxes.

Corrugated cardboard is divided into single corrugated cardboard, double corrugated cardboard, and multi-layer corrugated cardboard. Single corrugated cardboard is made of two layers of boxboard and one layer of wavy corrugated base paper; double corrugated cardboard is made of two layers of boxboard, two layers of wavy corrugated base paper, and one layer of corrugated core paper; multi-layer corrugated cardboard is made of two layers of boxboard, multiple layers of wavy corrugated base paper, and multiple layers of corrugated core paper.

(1) Interpretation method of corrugated cardboard.

In order to reflect the paper quality and the combination of corrugation (flute type) of each type of cardboard, corrugated cardboard is represented by a code, and the interpretation method should remember three points:

① Use English letters or numbers to represent the paper quality, such as K3K, A=A, K3K3K, etc.

② Use numbers to represent the quality and flute type, such as 3 represents B flute, 9 represents E flute. Thus, K3K (B flute), B9B (E flute).

③ Each letter or number generally represents one layer of paper (for example, in K3K3K cardboard, K is the face paper, 3 is the corrugated paper, K is the middle paper, and the other K is the bottom paper).
